Nufaro is an alternative-experimental pop band based in the Netherlands.
Combining narration with songs, improvisation and humor, they experiment with
different ways of putting on shows, but always telling a whole story through their
music and stage setup. The audience gets to experience a complete narrative
alongside their music. Their music crosses a broad spectrum of genres, weaving
together avant-garde pop sensibilities with experimental and 70’s rock influences to
create a unique sound and atmosphere
Nufaro, a band formed three years ago, blossomed from a group of close friends
Lida, Minas, Filippos and Tom. Lida started writing music that she eventually
shared with the rest of the group and slowly they created a unique sound all
together and have been working together ever since. They have been working on a
variety of material with a curious mind, lot of humour and experimenting by
combining their different backgrounds. They have released an album called
“Nufaro” under the name of Lida Brouskari and are planning to release two more
sets of work under the band name Nufaro soon.
